Star of the Week

So its my third week as manager and as a team we have managed to become 'star of the week' in our weekly company newsletter. It is a great achievement and shows the hard work and dedication the team and myself have put in over the past few weeks. It is great to see some recognition for the work being done.

Promotion

So I have just been promoted to concession manager on my department, although this is not the career I had in mind, I think it will be great experience for me on a temporary basis.

Je suis alle a Paris a le weekend...

In Paris I visited the Musee Art de la mode where there was a Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs exhibition held for a limited time only.

The exhibition included a variety of different garments and accessories from many eras and fashion movements throughout time from 1900's until present day, their collections were displayed in the most avant guard yet elegant format in one of the fashion capitals in the world.

During the show there was a video presentation which represented Paris throughout time, showing footage from the Champs Elysees and the Rue St Honre along with monumental locations such as the Eiffel Tower and the Notre Damn where I also took the opportunity to visit during my time in Paris.

As a designer and fashion enthusiast I found touring the fashion capital of the world hugely beneficial to my progression as an designer and an artist.

I miss Fiji
